I really am the worst kinda person, I'm sorry guys
another 1. 5 month wait wasn't cool at all
I just had a lot of one-shots to push through for some RP things, but that obviously wasn't fair to you guys at all
you have my full attention now, though (I've decided I won't do the 50th oneshot until Chilled is over) so that's all well and good.
UMMM. there were things I wanted to discuss and now I can't remember most of them.
I guess we'll start with Chillpaw, since all the other cats got a lil paragraph about their sin and whatnot. Chillpaw was Wrath (obviously, as it was the last one left). Wrath is usually connected to anger, which is strange for a cat like him, but it doesn't have to be emotional. Wrath is mainly concerned with destruction, namely for revenge, and as we knew, Chillpaw was alllll about revenge, for real. His obsessive balancing act meant that he really didn't care who he had to off, so long as it kept things in check, but even that idea was just a way to ensure that revenge could sit easily on his conscience.
It was the putting aside of his wrath - in this case, rescuing Sootpaw - that allowed him to grasp at redemption. All the kitties that rebelled against Blight did, in a way; Swiftshade took something into his own paws, against Sloth's better instincts (someone else had to start it, of course, since he still has issues to work through, but still), Shrew gave up the portion of Sootpaw's soul he had taken, resisting Gluttony (esp. fitting since they basically ate it), and Nettle obviously resisted Greed in giving up what she had taken and, in the end, giving up her life.
Okay, those are two things...hmm. I feel like there was more, but mrrfff I can't remember. I really am the worst. :/
I don't think I'll answer reviews this time around (since there are so many which is really really awesome but I'm also lazy). Next time fo sho, tho, so if you have any lingering questions, make sure to pop them in before the next chapter.
